Jordan Werner featured on St. George, UT News

St. George, Utah is one of the hidden gems of America. It is located two hours north of Las Vegas, NV just over the Utah border. Often referred to as “Southern Utah”, the area is home to several lakes perfect for the bass fisherman. What makes the area so attractive to anglers is the contrast that exists among the local bodies of water. Each lake in the area is very different from the other. From clear water to muddy creeks, to deep cold open blue waters, the lakes provide enough challenge to keep the best anglers constantly pushing their limits, and improving their skills.

Recently St. George news ran into two young anglers on one of these lakes. Desiring to know more about this sport, they interviewed Jordan Werner and Cutler Labrum, and boat captain Clif Gallagher. What caught their attention was the care these boys had for the local fish population. When the young men were fizzing the bass to restore buoyancy and caring for them before release, it caught the attention of local news anchor E. George Goold.

He featured the two boys along with an article about their journey to the National Championships in his recent editorial.
